National Recovery Month
National Recovery Month (Recovery Month) is a national observance held every September to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can enable those with a mental and/or substance use disorder to live a healthy and rewarding life.
Share Your Story – Sharing is Strength
Celebrate recovery and become inspired by reviewing the personal stories of people recovering from mental and/or substance use disorders.
- Please do not include any identifying information: do not include your full name, email, city, state or other identifying location information.
We want to share the struggles – and triumphs – of those who are in recovery and those who have recovered from addiction.
Thanks for participating and inspiring others!
